Our US law firm client is seeking a new highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their London office on a permanent basis. Salary to £95,000 + exceptional employee benefits.

09:30-17:30 working hours. Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote).

You will act as the primary point of contact for the firm’s Corporate, Litigation and Project Finance teams, consisting of around 65 partners and associates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support with drafting and implementing each group's marketing plan including monitor and refine plans as needed.
  • Managing each team’s clients and prospect targeting lists, compile data and run reports for partner groups.
  • End-to-end support of RFP, pitches, and proposals process – producing high-quality client pitch documents and seeing them through to submission with partners and other fee-earners.
  • Assist in the drafting, editing, and mailing of internal newsletters, client updates, and other client communications, including marketing and business development-related correspondence on behalf of partners.
  • Managing and organising large-scale prestigious client events and execution of thought leadership programmes.
  • Writing and managing each group’s annual directory/award submissions (Chambers, Legal 500 and IFLR) and industry specific awards.
  • Conduct research on existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, and industry or market trends to aid in the development of marketing plans, presentations, and proposals.
  • Collaborate with other members of the global marketing and business development team to ensure the success of business development programmes, campaigns, and initiatives.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Educated at degree level with minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience within a law firm.
  • Strong project management and analytical capabilities.
  • Well-developed influencing and presentation skills, resilient and focused.
  • Familiarity with working with CRM systems such as InterAction, website CMS, and email marketing platforms such as Concep Campaigner a plus.
  • Flexibility to evolve with the position as required - including availability outside of normal working hours.
