Responsibilities

As the primary developer on this solution you will be responsible for liaison with business users, training the existing development team, delivering system enhancements and product additions. The role is based in an Agile Scrum team, you will need to have excellent Python, Django, Vue.js and PostGIS technical skills. You will also have competent front-end development skills including JavaScript and TypeScript, use of version control/GIT & Azure DevOps, and be accustomed to working on systems which sit on SQL. This role offers the opportunity to be the primary contact for Python development and to learn .Net Core and Angular skills in order to support and maintain existing internal solutions. Your experience must include either working within the Insurance or Financial Services industry, or you have developed Finance systems in another industry.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python, Django, Vue.js and PostGIS.
  • Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript front-end development.
  • Version control with Git and Azure DevOps.
  • SQL database experience.
  • Knowledge or interest in .Net Core and Angular.
  • Background in Insurance or Financial Services industry, or finance systems development.
