Responsibilities
- As the primary developer on this solution you will be responsible for liaison with business users, training the existing development team, delivering system enhancements and product additions.
- The role is based in an Agile Scrum team, you will need to have excellent Python, Django, Vue.js and PostGIS technical skills.
- You will also have competent front-end development skills including JavaScript and TypeScript, use of version control/GIT & Azure DevOps, and be accustomed to working on systems which sit on SQL.
- This role offers the opportunity to be the primary contact for Python development and to learn .Net Core and Angular skills in order to support and maintain existing internal solutions.
- Your experience must include either working within the Insurance or Financial Services industry, or you have developed Finance systems in another industry.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Python, Django, Vue.js and PostGIS.
- Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript front-end development.
- Version control with Git and Azure DevOps.
- SQL database experience.
- Knowledge or interest in .Net Core and Angular.
- Background in Insurance or Financial Services industry, or finance systems development.
