I have recently partnered with a scale-up who are looking for a Head of Engineering to drive the engineering bubble, align the business needs with the technical roadmap, and drive the best out of their current team.
With the likes of Barclays investing in this noble product, you will be part of a team who are coding away with purpose and on a mission to heal the planet with their game-changing platform.
The Head of Engineering will be looking after a mix of Seniors, Mids, and Junior Java engineers, building a SaaS product that has saved over 300 tonnes of CO2, reduced noise pollution, and contributed to building healthier, smarter cities.
Their current tech stack is a mix of Java, Springboot, MySQL, GCP, Docker, CI/CD, SQL, to name a few technologies.
As the Head of Engineering in this team, you will be getting involved in all aspects, getting in the trenches with the coders, building new optimisation tools, scaling the team around you, being strategically involved in setting the technical roadmaps, and driving them to continued success and growth.
After the first month, this role will transition into 60% managerial and 40% hands-on development.
