Our client is a high-growth, cloud-based SaaS subscription business, delivering governance, risk management, and compliance services to over 4,000 public and private sector clients. They operate across 20+ sectors, including construction, transport, retail, hospitality, education, facilities and property management, manufacturing, and both local and central government. Role Summary Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Senior Developer with approximately 7 years of commercial experience to help build a new product from the ground up. While a full-stack background is preferred, candidates with strong front-end or server-side development expertise will also be considered. You’ll be joining a dynamic and entrepreneurial development team working in a fast-paced, agile, and business-aligned environment. This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up, directly contributing to a growing product and shaping its future. Job Responsibilities Contribute to a brand-new cloud-native product\’s architecture, design, and development. Collaborate with team members, product managers, and the wider business to deliver high-quality, scalable code. Write, test, and maintain clean and efficient code across the stack. Troubleshoot and optimise performance across the technology stack. Uphold high development standards, particularly around security and scalability. Work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment, with minimal supervision. Required Skills 7+ years of commercial software development experience. Strong experience with cloud deployment tools: Preferably Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and Git. Knowledge of secure development practices and cybersecurity risks relevant to large B2B SaaS platforms. Demonstrated problem-solving and performance tuning skills across full-stack environments. Methodical, detail-oriented, and highly organised. Strong communication and time management skills. Nice to Have Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and vector databases. Exposure to free-text data matching and complex data parsing. Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless environments (e.g., Kubernetes).
