We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to support children and young people in an engaging and supportive school environment. Please note: This role is full-time only. Do not apply if you are looking for part-time work, are on a student/20-hour visa, or require sponsorship. Only candidates who already have the legal right to work full-time in the UK will be considered.

Role Overview:

  • Provide pastoral and well-being support to young people, helping them overcome social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
  • Mentor pupils to build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships.
  • Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to promote inclusion and engagement in learning.
  • Support with behaviour management, de-escalation strategies, and structured activities.
  • Help create a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment both inside and outside the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally able to work full-time in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
  • Previous youth work, mentoring, or education-based experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build trust with young people.
  • Full-time availability (Monday–Friday).
