Are you a skilled property manager with a passion for delivering excellent service? We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team in Glasgow, specialising in mid-market rent properties. This is initially a part-time role, but there is the opportunity for it to grow into a full-time position as our portfolio increases.
LAR are a Mid-Market Rental provider who are not just building homes; we are creating communities and making a lasting impact. By joining our team, you will be part of an organisation dedicated to providing affordable, sustainable housing for individuals and families in need throughout Scotland.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of mid-market rental properties across Glasgow and Ayr.
- Conduct property viewings, tenant screenings, and lease agreements.
- Coordinate with the maintenance and repairs team to ensure properties are well-maintained.
- Coordinate with the compliance team to ensure all legal requirements and regulations are met.
- Provide first-class customer service to tenants and landlords alike.
- Regularly inspect properties and developments and handle any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Property Management role, ideally in the rental sector. LETWELL or Propertymark qualification desirable; however, training would be provided for the right candidate.
- Driving Licence and access to a vehicle: This role will require you to be out meeting prospective tenants and current tenants over a number of our sites in Glasgow and Ayr.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, both verbally and written, and ability to manage complaints.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (training can be provided).
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team as there will be lone working.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary of £18,301 with 10% Car allowance and 11% Pension Contribution.
- 21 hours a week – Can be offered over 3 days or over 5 days, with 1 in 5 Saturdays required.
- This role will be a split between home working and being out on site. We currently have no office in Glasgow or Ayr.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
- Our Head Office is based in Dunfermline and you will require to occasionally travel to the office for training.
