Street Services provide a highly visible frontline service to all the borough’s residents, business and visitors from sweeping roads to collecting household and businesses waste bins. This vital frontline service has a huge impact on residents, the community and cleanliness of the public realm.

We are looking for motivated individuals to apply for our Street Cleansing Operatives (SCO) roles

Responsibilities

  • The sweeping of the borough’s streets, town centres and highways
  • Emptying street litter bins
  • Reporting and removing fly tips
  • Reporting anti-social behaviour and repairs to your team leader

You will be working within an area-based location anywhere across the borough between the hours of 6am and 8pm Monday to Friday including weekends and Bank Holidays on a Contractual overtime basis.

Salary details £33,489 – £33,897 (Includes London weighting, contractual overtime IVA and Laundry allowance).
