We are working with a professional sports organisation in the East Midlands looking for a Head of Partnerships. The Head of Partnerships is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth. The role will include the management of a team of Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Identify and target new partnership opportunities across key sectors.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, pitching, and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective partners.
  • Oversee the activation and delivery of partnership rights, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, managing day-to-day relationships and resolving issues promptly.
  • Work closely with marketing, communications, and events teams to deliver integrated campaigns and activations.
  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to the CCO and senior leadership team.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales and delivery personnel.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven track record of securing high-value partnerships, preferably within sports.
  • Significant experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience managing complex contracts and stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

Salary: Circa £50k + OTE
