The Food & Beverage Supervisor supports the daily operation of F&B outlets by supervising staff and ensuring a seamless, positive guest experience. This role is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring outlets are fully staffed, stocked, and that teams are well briefed and trained. Combining strong customer service leadership with allergen and intolerance knowledge, the Supervisor maintains high outlet standards, oversees presentation, coordinates team activities, drives guest satisfaction, and upholds company policies to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Operations
    • Supervise and lead Front of House (FOH) staff, providing clear direction and delegating tasks to deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Ensure all F&B outlets are properly set up at the start of the day and closed to standard at the end of operations.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised environment in line with health and safety.
    • Demonstrate strong knowledge of food allergens, ensuring accurate communication to guests and full team compliance with procedures.
    • Confidently respond to guest queries regarding food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, allergens, and product details.
    • Ensure F&B outlets are well‑presented and always aligned with brand standards.
    • Maintain high standards across dining areas, counters, service points and F&B outlets.
    • Oversee signage, pricing, menus, and promotional displays.
    • Lead opening and closing procedures across all commercial outlets.
  • Guest Experience
    • Ensure guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded through warm, welcoming, and professional service.
    • Deliver service in line with LaplandUK operating procedures and the agreed sequence of service, acting as a role model for the team.
    • Proactively resolve guest concerns and elevate issues appropriately when required.
  • People & HR
    • Train and coach team members to ensure service, quality, and brand standards are consistently achieved.
    • Support the Commercial Duty Manager in motivating the FOH team and maintaining high morale throughout the event period.
    • Lead by example, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a positive working culture.
    • Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded and controlled.
    • Work closely with the Duty Manager to minimise stock wastage and ensure any losses are properly investigated and accounted for.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure all company policies, procedures, and brand standards are fully understood and adhered to by the team.
    • Support compliance with food safety, health and safety, and licensing at all times.
    • Strong working knowledge of food safety, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality or the food and beverage industry.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a fast‑paced F&B environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Confident in managing guest complaints and resolving issues effectively.
  • Experience training, coaching, and supporting team members.

  • Food Hygiene Level 2 and strong allergen/intolerance awareness.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Confident using technology and staffing systems.

Shifts & Availability: As you will be working on a rota basis with the other Supervisors, good availability between October 2026‑January 2027 is essential. Training and Build period on‑site: October TBC Live Event Period: 7 November – 24 December Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour.

What You’ll Receive

  • £17.00 per hour, plus holiday pay which is paid at the end of your contract.

  • Shuttle bus from local Train Station to event site.

Customer Facing Role Requirements

  • Remove all jewellery and piercings (no clear replacements) – this includes tooth gems/grills.
  • Have neatly groomed, natural coloured hair, and as an elf, have all long hair in plaits.
  • If worn, religious head coverings must be a neutral colour of brown, beige, or navy.
  • Arrive on shift with none or natural make‑up (foundation if worn must look like your natural skin tone); minimal mascara, no false eye lashes and no false or painted nails.
  • No tattoos are permitted from the collar bone up for all customer facing roles.
  • In addition, no tattoos are permitted below elbow for Food & Beverage, and 2 inches below elbow for all other customer facing roles on site.
  • Leave all watches, including smart watches and phones securely in your locker.
