Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, typically 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility required during peak periods)
Location: 3 days a week - The Woodyard Workshop (Ascot) & 1 day a week - Head Office (Covent Garden)

Role Overview
The Florist & Greens Lead is responsible for the creative delivery, planning, coordination, installation, maintenance, and de-rig of all floristry & greens elements across Lapland’s large-scale immersive environments in London and Manchester. This role plays a key part in shaping the seasonal atmosphere and visual storytelling of the experience, ensuring all floristry and greens elements enhance the narrative world while remaining durable, safe, and suitable for extended public interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, installation, maintenance, and de-rig of all floristry & green elements across sites
- Develop and manage detailed installation, maintenance, and de-rig schedules
- Produce comprehensive inventories, specifications, and dressing plans aligned with creative direction and site requirements
- Supervise and support on-site teams to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery
- Deliver practical, robust solutions suitable for live environments
- Ensure all installations meet agreed standards for design integrity, quality, durability, and safety
- Conduct quality control checks, snagging, and ongoing refreshes throughout live operation
- Oversee the safe removal, de-rig, and storage of all assets
- Coordinate closely with Creative, Productions, and Operations teams to align with wider production timelines
- Manage materials and stock levels, balancing creative ambition with durability, cost and logistical considerations
- Create and manage budgets, tracking expenditure to ensure delivery within agreed financial parameters
- Maintain full compliance with health & safety regulations, RAMS, and site procedures
- Contribute to delivering a safe, seamless, and immersive guest experience in line with Lapland’s values
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong alignment with Lapland’s core values
- Proven experience in floristry or greens leadership within events, immersive experiences, retail, or themed environments
- Expertise in large-scale installations (fresh, faux, and mixed media)
- Demonstrated experience managing on-site teams in fast-paced environments
- Excellent planning, scheduling, and organisational skills
- Strong visual eye with exceptional attention to detail and consistency
- Practical understanding of health & safety requirements in public-facing environments
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines during peak periods
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working outdoors in woodland settings and variable weather conditions
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours during peak delivery phases
