Now in its 18th season, LaplandUK is a world-class immersive Christmas experience, crafted by Hollywood set designers and West End creatives. Welcoming over 170,000 guests each year, it transports families into an extraordinary festive journey through theatrical worlds, snowy forests, ice skating, and magical storytelling.

We are now looking for energetic and responsible Ice Rink Supervisors to help deliver a safe and unforgettable skating experience at our beautifully themed outdoor rinks.

The Role

As an Ice Rink Supervisor, you\'ll oversee the day-to-day running of LaplandUK’s iconic frozen pond. Leading a team of Marshalls, you’ll ensure smooth operations, prioritise guest safety, and help create magical memories for every visitor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a safe, well-organised rink operation in line with all procedures
  • Lead daily team briefings and keep morale high
  • Support with scheduling and cover for absences as needed
  • Report guest feedback, incidents, and potential hazards promptly
  • Uphold accessibility and inclusion policies across your team
  • Liaise with other departments to maintain smooth guest flow
  • Manage safety incidents calmly and professionally
  • Assist with VIP or PR visits as needed
  • Complete all required training and e-learning modules

What We’re Looking For

You might already be a team leader, a supervisor in a fast-paced setting, or have experience in events or visitor attractions. Most importantly, you’re a confident, safety-conscious leader with great energy and people skills.

You’ll need:

  • Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong understanding of health and safety in operational settings
  • Ability to motivate teams and communicate clearly under pressure
  • Confidence using basic tech systems (e.g. scheduling, comms tools)
  • Friendly, calm, and solutions-focused attitude
  • Experience in live events or attractions is a bonus, not a requirement

Shifts & Availability

AM and PM shifts available (one supervisor per shift). Final rotas will depend on your availability, with strong availability from mid-October to Christmas Eve required.
