About Lapland
Based on the original stories of Mike and Alison Battle ‘Lapland’, the show, is a ground-breaking immersive theatrical production that brings to life the mythical elven world of Father Christmas. Lapland celebrates the wonderment of childhood through our magical world, rich story telling & memory making experiences.
Role Overview
The Lapland Golden Experience provides an extra sprinkle of magic on top of the already special Lapland experience. Part of this Golden Experience package includes a personal host to assist guests throughout their time at Lapland. Therefore, we are looking for people who are passionate about providing the most premium of experiences to help create truly memorable moments for our guests. The ideal candidate would be proactive, extroverted and have a proven track record in working in a guest focused environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- A warm and welcoming demeanor to greet our guests to the show.
- Extremely attentive to all the wishes of our guests throughout their visit.
- Remain professional when around high-profile guests.
- Diligent when collecting information about the guests to pass onto the Father Christmas operations team.
Where is Lapland?
Lapland is based in Whitmoor Forest, in Crown Estate on Swinley Road, Winkfield Row near Ascot SL5 8BD.
Key Dates
- PAID TRAINING: Your training plan will vary depending on your role. Training will take place on select dates between the end of October 2025 and the beginning of November 2025, training is mandatory.
- Hourly pay of £14.50 per hour, plus holiday pay which is paid at the end of your contract
- Free hot meal per day
- Free coffee, tea and soft drinks
- 20% discount in LaplandUK retail shops on selected dates
- Free Parking Off-Site at Ascot Racecourse (shuttlebus direct to event site)
- Shuttlebus from Ascot Train Station to event site.

Customer Facing Role Requirements
Where the Worker is customer facing & in costume, they will be expected to:
- Remove all piercings (no clear replacements)
- Have Natural hair colour and have all long hair in plaits.
- Arrive on shift with a base layer of natural appearing make-up, no false eye lashes and no false or painted nails.
- Have all tattoos covered – costumes vary and not all costumes will cover, hands, neck and arms etc anything visible or that could become visible during a working day is not permittable.
- All jewellery to be removed (Including accessories like tooth gems etc) with the exception of wedding or engagement rings .
- Leave all watches, including smart watches and phones securely in your locker
Please note we require a minimum commitment of 3 shifts per week; this application is for the hold pool.
