With stunning Hollywood-style sets, West End-quality performances, and a deep commitment to storytelling, LaplandUK creates unforgettable festive memories.
We’re looking for exceptional individuals to embody the most iconic figure of the season: Father Christmas.
THE ROLE
Deep in the snowy forest lies a gentleman of quiet strength, timeless charm, and boundless warmth — Father Christmas. As Father Christmas, you’ll become the original toymaker, greeting children and families with warmth, dignity, and gentle humour. With a twinkle in your eye and a kind heart, you’ll create an intimate, magical moment for every guest — one they’ll remember for a lifetime.
Key responsibilities include:
- Warmly welcoming families into your snowy woodland cabin
- Listening to children’s Christmas wishes and engaging with genuine interest
- Handing out personalised gifts with care and presence
- Maintaining the magic, mystery, and authenticity of Father Christmas in every interaction
- Working closely with West End wardrobe professionals to present a world-class appearance
- Managing time effectively to ensure a smooth flow of visits throughout each day.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You might be an actor, a performer, a drama teacher, a public speaker — or simply someone with a kind soul and a love for bringing joy to others. You’ll need:
- A calm, gentle, and dignified presence
- Strong communication and improvisation skills
- The ability to stay in character and hold space for children’s imaginations
- Confidence in working with tight schedules and under pressure
- A warm and welcoming demeanour — with or without performance experience (Full training is provided.)

- £214 per day (£20.50 per hour + £50 daily subsidiary)
