LaplandUK, the award-winning immersive Christmas experience, returns to Macclesfield this winter. Based on original stories by creators Mike and Alison Battle, LaplandUK transports families into a beautifully crafted festive world with Hollywood-style sets, West End-quality performances, and unforgettable storytelling.
We’re now casting for the most iconic role of all: Father Christmas.
About the Role
As Father Christmas, you’ll be the heart of the experience. In your cosy woodland cabin, you’ll welcome families, listen intently to children’s Christmas wishes, and hand out personalised gifts — all while staying completely in character. With warmth, dignity, and a sparkle in your eye, you’ll help create lifelong memories for every guest you meet.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Welcome families into your snowy cabin with warmth and joy
- Engage with children and listen to their wishes with genuine care
- Distribute personalised gifts with presence and attention
- Maintain the authenticity and mystery of Father Christmas in every moment
- Work closely with costume, makeup, and performance teams
- Keep visits on schedule while never rushing the magic
Who We’re Looking For
You might be a performer, drama teacher, storyteller, or simply someone with a kind heart and the ability to bring joy. What matters most is your presence and your ability to enchant.
You’ll need:
- A calm, gentle, and dignified manner
- Strong communication and improvisation skills
- Confidence staying in character and nurturing children\’s imaginations
- Comfort working to a timed schedule in a dynamic environment
- A warm, welcoming spirit (full training provided)
What You’ll Receive
- £214 per day (£20.50/hour + £50 daily subsidiary)
