We have a fantastic opportunity to join a firm that combines professional excellence with a family atmosphere which is the envy of many other law firms. The role is predominantly based in Shrewsbury but you will be required to travel to our other offices at times (applications will be considered from candidates who live closer to any of our other offices). The role can be worked on a hybrid basis of three days in the office and two days from home (following an initial training/familiarisation period).

You will be an ambassador for our compliance culture and standards, demonstrating the highest standards of compliance behaviour, raising awareness of regulatory requirements and compliance policies across the firm. You will work together with a small team and provide an advisory role for regulatory aspects across the whole firm, ensuring best practice and adherence. You will report to the COLP and MLRO.

You will have significant experience of working in a compliance role within an SRA regulated practice. You will have experience of reviewing regulatory materials, including compliance data and KPI’s, planning risk assessments and implementing and overseeing systems and controls. Candidates who are qualified to be COLP or MLRO may be asked to take on those roles formally after an initial period assisting the current post-holders.
