36.25 hours per week. We have a fantastic opportunity for a legal support assistant to join our Clinical Negligence Department based at our Hereford office.
Responsibilities
- Assist lawyers by providing administrative support and some legal work on cases
- Communicate with existing and potential clients, taking initial claims information
- Work under supervision on various aspects of a file
- Prepare electronic files and documents
- Communicate with clients regarding their claims
- Use a high degree of self‑management and initiative, maintaining a highly professional, efficient, confidential and friendly service
Qualifications
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience of working in a busy and professional team‑orientated environment
- Previous legal experience preferable, but not essential
- Confidence in the use of Microsoft Word and IT systems
- Ability to work in a busy environment with good organisational and time‑management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
