LANXESS UK is recruiting a HSEQ Specialist – Systems to work at our Trafford Park site!

About the Role

LANXESS is looking for an experienced HSEQ Specialist - Systems to enhance and manage our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Management System.

This role will ensure ISO9001 & ISO14001 compliance and oversee site‑wide legal and environmental compliance, audits, training, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update HSEQ systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits, ISO standards, and waste management.
  • Coordinate internal audits and lead incident investigations.
  • Manage environmental data, performance reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate on safety training and HSEQ improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree qualification.
  • Experience as an HSEQ Specialist in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ systems, regulatory compliance, and ISO standards.
  • Skills in data analysis, training, and cross‑functional teamwork.
  • Ability to work site‑based and build relationships focused on safety and sustainability.
