Als Process Safety Engineer sta je niet aan de zijlijn rapporten te schrijven. Je bevindt je midden in Operations, Engineering en Projecten en zorgt ervoor dat risico’s tijdig worden herkend, kritisch worden bevraagd en effectief worden gereduceerd voordat zij kunnen leiden tot incidenten. Je werkt op een Seveso-locatie waar chemische processen complex zijn en de foutmarge klein is. Juist daarom is deze rol essentieel.
- Volledige verantwoordelijkheid voor procesveiligheid binnen een complete chemische site
- Leiden van risicoanalyses (zoals HAZOP en SIL) die daadwerkelijk besluitvorming beïnvloeden
- Kritisch beoordelen van ontwerpkeuzes, modificaties en operationele processen vanuit veiligheidsperspectief
- Vertalen van complexe wet- en regelgeving naar praktisch toepasbare oplossingen op de werkvloer
- Nauwe samenwerking met operators, engineers en projectteams
- Actieve betrokkenheid bij shutdowns en projecten waar jouw input doorslaggevend is
- Signaleren van trends en patronen in incidenten en veiligheidsdata
- Vormgeven aan hoe procesveiligheid wordt toegepast, niet alleen hoe deze wordt vastgelegd
Ervaring / Skills
- Afgeronde opleiding Chemische Technologie of vergelijkbaar
- Ruime ervaring met procesveiligheid binnen (petro)chemische of Seveso-omgevingen
- Praktische kennis van HAZOP, SIL en ATEX
- Comfortabel in het leiden en uitdagen van risicoanalyses
- Sterk procesmatig inzicht in hoe een fabriek daadwerkelijk functioneert
- Stevig genoeg om tegenwicht te bieden en dit inhoudelijk te onderbouwen
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels
- Zelfstandig, proactief en risicobewust
Wat wij bieden
- Een vast contract vanaf dag één
- Een aantrekkelijk salaris binnen schaal L (€ 5.704 – € 8.001 bruto per maand, afhankelijk van ervaring)
- Een dienstverband van minimaal 32 uur per week
- Possibiliteit tot hybride werken (maximaal 2 dagen per week)
