As a senior Expert in Hazard Communication you will ensure that LANXESS fulfills its legal obligation to report the hazards of LANXESS products in safety data sheets. You will lead projects on a global level to adapt the relevant processes to the appropriate requirements. You will be responsible for analyzing the regulations and the product portfolio in order to assess the impact on the product specifications. You will ensure that all product safety data and documents are correctly stored in the various systems. As a subject matter expert, you will lead communications with internal and external stakeholders to support product compliance.

- Responsible for collecting, cleaning, and organizing process-related Product Safety data.
- As a project manager, you will independently lead global data projects with teams of experts.
- Audit standard procedures and documentation to ensure site and process alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Your area of responsibility will be expanded to include project-related work in the design, development, and implementation of regulatory changes in existing business processes and the underlying IT system.
- For both internal (some of which are SAP-based) and external data sources, you will design and specify appropriate reports to provide analytical insights using various methods.
- Support Business Units, R&D and Customers to ensure data quality for regulatory purposes.
- Respond to internal and external customer questions as appropriate on hazard communication topics.
Experience / Skills
- Chemistry based degree.
- 5-10 years experience in the Chemical Industry.
- More than 5 years Hazard Communication experience.
- Advanced training to allow the classification of chemicals.
- The ability to apply the regulations for different GHS regions to generate all data for sections 1 - 16 (excluding section 14).
- International experience.
- Expert user of SAP EHS and other standard IT tools.
- Familiarity with the LANXESS portfolio.
