As we go through an exciting period of growth, we are now looking for a Board & Secretarial Administrator to join us on a permanent, part-time basis, working 19 hours per week.

The Role:

As Board & Secretarial Administrator, you will provide high-quality governance and administrative support to our Board, Committees and Executive Team, helping to ensure effective governance processes and compliance across the organisation. Working closely with the Company Secretary and Executive Team, you will support the planning, co-ordination and delivery of Board and Committee meetings, ensuring Trustees receive timely, accurate and relevant information to fulfil their responsibilities effectively. You will develop a strong understanding of our governance framework to provide effective advice and support on governance matters, ensuring adherence to best practice and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will:

  • Advise the Company Secretary to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Prepare agendas, minutes and accurate records for meetings
  • Manage Companies House, Charity Commission and OSCR records and documentation
  • Ensure contracts are securely stored and communicated to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Support the accurate tracking and reporting of Board and Committee actions

About You:

To be considered as a Board & Secretarial Administrator, you will need:

  • Experience of agenda setting, meeting planning, minute-taking and action tracking within high-level meetings
  • Experience co-ordinating meetings and events
  • Experience working within a governance environment
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A broad understanding of data protection and current legislation
  • A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to our location)
