It has a broad product portfolio of qualifications and awards delivered to the industry through training providers and industry organisations. We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Head of Product to lead the creation, development and evolution of our portfolio of qualifications, awards, apprenticeships and accredited programmes. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of skills across the nature-based sector, working alongside employers, industry partners and training providers to ensure our products remain relevant, innovative and impactful. As a trusted Awarding Organisation, our client has a long-standing reputation for excellence, and this role will be instrumental in maintaining and strengthening that position. About the Role Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead a team of 13 FTE and take ownership of the full product lifecycle, from market insight and product strategy through to development, launch and ongoing review. You will identify growth opportunities, drive product innovation, ensure regulatory compliance, and build strong partnerships across industry. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver product strategy across qualifications, awards, apprenticeships and accredited programmes. Lead the design, development and review of new and existing qualifications and assessment products. Drive innovation and identify opportunities for portfolio growth and commercial success. Ensure products remain compliant with Ofqual and wider regulatory requirements. Build strong relationships with employers, training providers, professional bodies and industry stakeholders. Represent the organisation at industry forums, and stakeholder engagements. Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing product and qualifications team. About You We're looking for a strategic leader with a passion for product development and a strong understanding of the UK qualifications landscape. Essential experience Track record experience of developing and launching qualifications , awards or apprenticeship products. Strong knowledge of qualification regulation , assessment design and quality assurance. Desirable Experience Significant experience within an Awarding Organisation, EPAO, professional body, regulator or education provider. Experience managing product portfolios and supporting commercial growth. The ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders and bring industry voices into product development. Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. Experience within land-based, agricultural or wider nature-based sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.
