The opportunity: As a Customer Supply Chain Advisor, you’ll own a portfolio of customers, acting as their main point of contact to process orders, resolve queries and keep service performance on track. What you’ll do:
- Manage a defined customer base: process orders, handle queries and meet tight timeframes and KPIs.
- Maintain master data and pricing in our ERP (AX12/Dynamics AX) and support promotions/campaigns.
- Download and validate EDI orders; raise/correct errors; manage invoices via customer purchasing sites.
- Prepare accurate delivery documentation for hauliers; book/organise transport, monitor MOQs and budgets.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally and with 3PL/warehouses; attend service reviews and help improve ways of working.
- Produce weekly/monthly customer service reports; support transfer orders to maintain stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve invoice and stock queries with EDI & Stock Control teams; provide cover across the team.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong communication (written & verbal), professional phone manner and customer‑care awareness.
- High IT literacy, Excel & Word (intermediate); confident with ERP/MRP systems (AX12 experience a plus).
- Numerate, analytical, proactive and self‑motivated able to work independently and as part of a tight‑knit team.
- Experience in customer service/sales office/supply chain environments, working accurately under time pressure.
- Helpful extras: exposure to palletised product shipping; comfort with SharePoint/OneDrive/Copilot; understanding of EDI and ExFlow.
Flexibility: We recognise peaks (earlier starts/later finishes) and give back where possible.
