Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct rigorous manual testing and assist in automating tests, focusing on the accurate representation and processing of financial data.
2. Utilize TestRail for comprehensive test case management and integrate testing activities within our Agile development cycles managed through Azure DevOps.
3. Document defects and issues in JIRA with detailed explanations and screenshots, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution, maintaining high data quality standards.
4. Enhance and maintain testing frameworks, contributing to improvements in testing tools and methodologies to meet the evolving needs of financial data reporting.
5. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, using Confluence to maintain up-to-date documentation of testing practices and results.
6. Engage with product teams to understand user requirements and ensure that testing strategies align with business objectives and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a QA testing role, with a strong emphasis on both manual and automated testing environments.
3. Experience with financial data systems and understanding of the specific quality challenges posed by high-stakes financial reporting.
4. Proficient in the use of JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, and familiar with CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions.
5. ISTQB (International Software Testers Qualification Board) Foundation level or Higher.
