Lansons’ Public Affairs team is looking to recruit a new team member at Account Executive, Senior Account Executive or Account Manager level, depending on experience. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning communications and reputation management firm with expertise spanning political, regulatory and corporate communications.
What the role involves
- Support the delivery of public affairs and communications programmes across multiple clients
- Monitor political, regulatory and media developments and turn insight into clear analysis for clients
- Draft written materials, including briefings, stakeholder maps, meeting notes, consultation responses and campaign content
- Help organise and support stakeholder engagement activity, including events, parliamentary engagement and external meetings
- Work closely with colleagues and clients to keep programmes on track and deliver to deadline
- Contribute ideas to campaigns, policy positioning and new business opportunities
What we are looking for
- Experience in an agency, political, policy, government, communications or related environment
- For junior candidates, around 6–12 months of relevant experience; for more experienced hires, evidence of managing workstreams or client activity with growing independence
- A strong interest in politics, policy and public decision‑making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, curious and solutions‑focused approach
- A collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working as part of a team
- Digital confidence and interest in how AI and new tools can support research, monitoring and analysis
