Lansons’ Public Affairs team is looking to recruit a new team member at Account Executive, Senior Account Executive or Account Manager level, depending on experience. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning communications and reputation management firm with expertise spanning political, regulatory and corporate communications.

What the role involves

  • Support the delivery of public affairs and communications programmes across multiple clients
  • Monitor political, regulatory and media developments and turn insight into clear analysis for clients
  • Draft written materials, including briefings, stakeholder maps, meeting notes, consultation responses and campaign content
  • Help organise and support stakeholder engagement activity, including events, parliamentary engagement and external meetings
  • Work closely with colleagues and clients to keep programmes on track and deliver to deadline
  • Contribute ideas to campaigns, policy positioning and new business opportunities

What we are looking for

  • Experience in an agency, political, policy, government, communications or related environment
  • For junior candidates, around 6–12 months of relevant experience; for more experienced hires, evidence of managing workstreams or client activity with growing independence
  • A strong interest in politics, policy and public decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, curious and solutions-focused approach
  • A collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working as part of a team
  • Digital confidence and interest in how AI and new tools can support research, monitoring and analysis
