The eCommerce Marketplace Manager will provide day-to-day management of Amazon and other marketplaces and collaborate on strategic leadership and guidance of e-Commerce strategies in conjunction with the Senior International/EU eCommerce Manager and the MD/VP UK, China & International. The focus of the role will be to drive incremental sales of existing products and launch new products online. The role will also be part of a wider EU Amazon working group sharing knowledge and best practice and consulting with our US team on reporting and performance.
- Deploy the marketplace strategy for the UK business, working in conjunction with the Senior International/EU eCommerce Manager and the VP/MD UK, China & International.
- Manage the day-to-day running and development of all third-party online channels, especially Amazon 1P and 3P.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of marketplace advertising and work with the agency to optimize Amazon ads to maximize performance and return on investment.
- Create and optimize product listings and ensure best practice is followed to achieve the highest number of views/sales.
- Work with Global Amazon Marketing team members to support Amazon specific asset creation for new listings, A+ and brand page updates.
- Perform market research on current competitors for market growth.
- Create sales reports and feed back to the wider team on a weekly basis.
- Develop strategies to increase sales, reduce costs and drive conversion rate of acquired products including price optimization, PPC, packaging/inserts, coupons and deals, customer communications, creative, changing packaging dimensions, subscribe and save, removing unprofitable products and more.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure products are always in stock, premium quality, have updated packaging and have all the appropriate required certifications.
- Demonstrable understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting and content management systems and processes.
