Lansdowne Biotechnics Limited invites a fresh or early‑stage Graduate Radio Frequency Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on the design and build of a wireless power transfer system that uses novel electronics and physical principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Build power electronics to a specified design that delivers kilowatts of power at MHz frequencies.
  • Construct a magnetic resonator unit based on a patented design expected to outperform current technologies.
  • Lead product development from a simple test‑bed prototype to a commercialisable final product for autonomous vehicles, robotics, and renewable energy applications.
  • Collaborate closely with Inductive Power Projection Ltd. and academic partners to translate research concepts into real‑world solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in electrical, mechanical, renewable, or automotive engineering.
  • Prototyping, soldering, and hands‑on experience with manufacturing and fabrication methods.
  • Understanding of R&D for power electronics.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Experience with CAD and computer simulation tools – especially COMSOL (predictive modelling) and SolidWorks (mechanical design).

Desired Experience and Attributes:

  • Self‑starter capable of operating independently in a small team environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to move products through development to commercialisation.
  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship (preferred).
  • Knowledge of serial and wireless digital communication.
