We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Shifts will be varied but generally evenings and to work across weekdays and weekends.

Duties

  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients.
  • Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and ensuring all necessary items are ready for chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
  • Help with organising stock and supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Support the serving team during busy periods by delivering food and clearing tables as required.
