About the Role

As a freelance Police Interpreter with LanguageLine Solutions, you will: Provide face-to-face interpreting services for police interviews, statements, and investigations Interpret between English and your foreign language with clarity and accuracy Collaborate with clients to ensure high-quality, culturally sensitive communication

This role offers the flexibility to choose your assignments and work in your preferred location, with ongoing support from our dedicated team.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Essential: Proof of proficiency in both English and your foreign language Excellent communication and active listening skills Proof of public service interpreting experience Resident in the UK for 3+ years (for NPPV3 vetting) Right to work in the UK

Required Qualifications (any of the following): DPSI (Law), DPI, DCI (Police and Court Pathway), or Interpreting qualification assessed by the Metropolitan Police
