Our client is looking for an experienced Dutch speaking Consular Officer to join their team on an 8 month temporary contract. Within this role you will provide a wide range of guidance, logistic and administrative support. This position is office based.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administrative and logistical support, consular advice, and assistance
- Reviewing and receiving applications/documents
- Ensuring all materials and documents are accurate and documented efficiently and correctly on the database
- Maintaining and updating all files and project documents
- Ensuring smooth communication between departments within the company
About you:
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver professional and efficient consular services to Dutch speaking residents. In order to succeed in this role you will have previous experience in an administrative environment and be self-motivated, dynamic, and able to take initiative to achieve the end result in this rewarding role. This vacancy would be suitable for a professional and dedicated Dutch speaker who seeks to develop their career within a respected organisation where you can add value to your role as well as making a difference to the environment.
Profile:
- Required to be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience as an Office Manager, Consular Officer, Administrator, Administration Executive, Administration Coordinator
- Experience working in the government sector would be beneficial
- Strong prioritisation and multitasking skills and excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Switched-on and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to commute into the office 5 days a week
- Available to start in May 2026
