Are you an experienced private client advisor looking to further develop your career in investment advisory and private banking? Our client, a globally recognised investment firm, is expanding their private client team for the Netherlands market, and is seeking a Dutch speaking Investment Counsellor / Private Banker to join their growing organisation. This is a client-facing position with a strong focus on relationship management. The role is based in Dublin, Ireland, with an initial full-time office presence in the first year, followed by a hybrid working model (1 day WFH per week). The salary on offer for this position is €82,000 (€90-110K OTE).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage relationships of private clients, acting as their main point of contact
- Advising clients directly on investment products and portfolio strategies
- Conducting regular client meetings to understand financial goals and risk profiles
- Presenting the firm’s investment philosophy and solutions clearly and confidently
- Building long-term relationships based on trust and high-quality advice
About you:
- You already have experience managing a clients’ portfolio and advising private clients on investments.
- You enjoy working closely with clients, communicating complex investment topics clearly, and acting as a long-term partner in their financial decision-making.
- This role offers significant development opportunities within a fast-growing private banking environment.
Profile:
- Fluent Dutch speaking to native standards, and fluent in English to business standards
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing private clients with your own book of business
- Proven experience advising directly on investment products
- Background in private banking, wealth management, or investment advisory
- MiFID certification (or equivalent); CFA or similar qualification is a plus
- Available to work on-site in Dublin (a generous relocation package is available if not already based in Ireland)
- EU work authorisation, with no current or future requirement for visa sponsorship
