Responsibilities
- Interpret spoken statements in settings such as healthcare, legal proceedings, local government, and other public services.
- Interpret conversations for individuals accessing public services (e.g. legal, health, and local authority services).
- Ensure clarity and understanding after each statement or question.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Act as a liaison between service users and service providers.
