Responsibilities

  • Interpret spoken statements in settings such as healthcare, legal proceedings, local government, and other public services.
  • Interpret conversations for individuals accessing public services (e.g. legal, health, and local authority services).
  • Ensure clarity and understanding after each statement or question.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Act as a liaison between service users and service providers.
