The Role
As a Face-to-Face Interpreter, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling communication between people who do not share the same language. You’ll interpret spoken or signed statements in settings such as healthcare, legal proceedings, local government, and more.
- Interpreting conversations for individuals accessing public services (e.g. legal, health, and local authority services)
- Ensuring clarity and understanding after each statement or question
- Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Acting as a liaison between service users and service providers

- Hospitals, clinics, and GP surgeries

What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in English and at least one other language
- Hold a DPSI, Community Interpreting qualification, or other interpreting-related qualification
- A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Legal right to work in the UK
