The Opportunity

Join a market-leading international sports events company as a German speaking Client Services Account Manager. You’ll be part of a passionate, international client services team dedicated to building and maintaining exceptional client relationships. In this role, you will take ownership of client requirements, manage escalations through to resolution, and collaborate closely with the teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, global environment where your initiative and professionalism will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive support to clients via Microsoft Teams and email
  • Troubleshoot technical and operational issues from investigation to resolution
  • Log and track all client queries
  • Escalate complex issues to the technical support team and ensure timely follow-up
  • Report regularly to the Director of Client Services on client issues and relationship status
  • Support new client system rollouts, site updates, and event operations
  • Conduct user acceptance testing, product delivery, and issue snagging
  • Prepare and maintain system and training documentation
  • Deliver engaging online product training sessions (1:1 and group) via Microsoft Teams
  • Review and improve client workflow processes, offering practical solutions
  • Provide out-of-hours or weekend event support when required

Candidate Profile

  • Fluency in German and English
  • Experience in a client-facing support or account management role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong escalation management and problem-solving abilities
  • Confident collaborating across internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
