The company and opportunity: We are hiring for a Corporate Tax Manager to join an international accounting practice in central London. You will need to be able to think outside of the box and have a firm grasp of the needs of a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and expert advisor for corporate tax matters. The role would suit somebody who enjoys both technical tax work and client interaction, understands UK corporate tax deeply, can explain complex tax issues clearly, and likes international business environments.
The job will include the following typical duties and responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients (privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses to multi-national firms).
- Guide clients on corporate tax matters, preparing and filing their corporate tax affairs.
- Play an active role in business development on the existing portfolio of clients.
- Prepare proposals and written advice across a range of topics to include multi-jurisdictional tax compliance, cross-border transactions, UK inbound/outbound investments, international tax, and UK tax due diligence.
