We are hiring for a French speaking Sales Executive to join an international sports & leisure brand. You will be working on their French speaking business markets of Europe, supporting the Sales Manager and b2b customers with sales orders and related queries.

Language requirements for the job: Fluent French and English is essential. Other language skills are useful but not essential.

Company background: Our client is a world leading leisure and sports brand with a large range of products and equipment that is recognised in various sports activities across the world.

Location of the job: Basingstoke, 35 minutes from central London by train. Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office (Monday, Thursday and Friday), 2 days work from home.

Job responsibilities of the French speaking Sales Executive: As part of their global sales and customer support team, your role as French speaking Sales Executive will be to manage inbound and outbound sales activity, ensuring queries are handled efficiently. Working as part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you’ll build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and partners to support both service and sales success. Your role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day sales and service support to Area Sales Managers and customers in France
  • Handle inbound calls and emails, identifying and resolving customer queries efficiently
  • Support outbound sales and service activity alongside the field sales team
  • Identify opportunities to upsell during customer interactions
  • Deliver against individual sales targets set annually
  • Accurately record and manage customer interactions within CRM systems
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Credit, Shipping, Operations) to resolve queries
  • Develop knowledge of order processing, shipping and wider business operations

The successful candidate background:

  • Fluent French and English is essential
  • A strong customer focus with a passion for delivering excellent service
  • An understanding of how service and sales work together to achieve results
  • Previous experience in a customer service and/or inside sales role
  • Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and via email
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset, excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Experience of using MS Office, CRM and ERP systems (Oracle advantageous)
  • An interest in sports, especially golf, leisure and outdoor activities is an advantage but not essential
