We are delighted to currently be working alongside Red Balloon Reading to recruit their next Fundraising Trustee. Red Balloon Reading is an inviting and nurturing educational setting that caters for students from across the local and neighbouring boroughs. They provide full-time or part-time therapeutic and educational support for young people who are aged between 11-16.
Red Balloon Reading is now looking to strengthen its Board and is seeking a Fundraising Trustee, an experienced fundraising professional with a strong track record in generating income through both traditional and innovative methods. You will bring a solid understanding of fundraising regulations and governance, along with demonstrable experience in the field.
As a Trustee, you will champion and help develop best practice in fundraising at Board level, playing a key role in supporting the mission and long-term sustainability. Trustees have a duty to ensure that the charity is well run, solvent, legally compliant, and working towards the charitable purpose for which it was established. Trustee roles are an important and highly rewarding way to support an organisation.
Please note that Trustee roles are unremunerated voluntary positions, although reasonable travel expenses will be paid.
