Our client a childrens charity is seeking an experienced Service Manager to run one of their residential family assessment centres based in Tooting. Reporting, to the Deputy Director you will take overall responsibility for the assessment and support based in Tooting. You will effectively lead the staff team, and facilitate and empower staff contributions to team discussions, decision making, day to day work, and the development of the service. Key responsibilities include: Take overall responsibility for the assessment and support services based at the centre. Ensure a high standard of social work practice within the centre and that staff are clear about their responsibilities and duties. Take lead and management responsibility for overseeing specific assessments including, reading of court papers, planning and reviewing the assessment, supporting Keyworkers to compile reports, and supporting Keyworkers in giving evidence at Court.
