We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the leadership of one of our restaurants in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury, high-volume environment and is eager to contribute to delivering unforgettable guest experiences.

Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will play a key role in leading the daily operation of the restaurant, developing the team, and ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and operational excellence.

What you'll do

  • Support the Head of Operations in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver an exceptional luxury dining experience.
  • Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction by maintaining the highest service standards.
  • Coordinate Front of House, Kitchen, Bar, and Guest Relations to guarantee seamless operations.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate managers and team members, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
  • Monitor operational performance and support the achievement of financial and commercial targets.
  • Assist in managing labour costs, productivity, and departmental KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety regulations, and brand standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support stock control, ordering processes, and supplier coordination.
  • Act as the Manager on Duty and lead the operation in the General Manager's absence.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Senior Operations Manager within a luxury hospitality or fine dining environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of restaurant financial performance.
  • Knowledge of fine dining service standards, food, wine, and luxury hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Italian is highly desirable. Additional languages are considered an advantage.
