Working 37.5 hours per week across
three 12.5-hour shifts, including weekends , you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to develop independence, manage risk, and successfully reintegrate into the community. Through meaningful interventions, safeguarding, and positive role modelling, you will help create safer communities and lasting change. Keywork clients and deliver or co-lead programmes, groups and one-to-one interventions that support personal development, independence and successful reintegration into the community. Contribute to risk assessments and risk management plans, monitor compliance and changes in risk of harm or reoffending, and share significant information through agreed procedures and MAPPA meetings. Maintain accurate computer-based records and documentation, including risk management plans, and make effective referrals while liaising with probation staff, police, service providers and other agencies. Promote and consistently uphold standards of conduct, Approved Premises rules and licence conditions through pro-social modelling, constructive challenge and fair enforcement alongside managers and Community Probation Practitioners. Support clients' physical and mental wellbeing by carrying out safeguarding duties, mandatory alcohol and drug testing, prescribed medication procedures including Naloxone, room searches, self-harm or suicide monitoring, and emergency first-aid response. About You QCF Level 3 in Community Justice or an equivalent qualification, or a willingness to work towards it; able to support the Trust's Christian ethos and willing to undertake a satisfactory Enhanced DBS with adult barred list check. Experience of planning, delivering, monitoring and evaluating activities or programmes—including Ministry of Justice meaningful activities—to manage challenging behaviour, together with experience of, or a willingness to learn about, therapeutic and enabling environments. Strong verbal, written and listening skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and external agencies; maintain accurate electronic records; reinforce boundaries appropriately; motivate learning and behaviour change; work independently to deadlines under pressure; handle sensitive matters with empathy, tact and discretion; and act as an Emergency First Aid Responder.
