Langley is looking for an experienced and values-driven Peripatetic Registered Manager to provide leadership and support across our residential care services nationwide. Working closely with Regional Managers and service teams, you will help drive service quality, maintain regulatory compliance, develop staff, and ensure vulnerable people receive outstanding care and support. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while championing Langley's Christian ethos and commitment to transforming lives.

Based from home, with weekly travel (including overnight stops) to our Central Office in Coventry and services nationwide, this is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week, offering a salary of £51,914 per annum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager, supporting in the oversight of the services, including the completion of delegated tasks and workload, such as audits and supervisions, as well deputising in the absence of the Regional Manager.
  • As a senior manager, lead and supervise staff including giving Christian pastoral support and ensuring that pastoral needs are being met.
  • Identify challenges and gaps in performance and propose and implement action plans to meet service needs.
  • Meet set budgets and agreed levels of quality as defined within the Langley House Trust Business Plan, Quality Assurance Strategy, Key Performance Indicators and CQC Key Lines of Enquiry.
  • Support new services or services needing additional support and assist in the induction, training and coaching of care staff.
ABOUT YOU
  • Inspire and lead with purpose – A qualified Registered Manager (Level 5 or above, or willing to achieve within two years) with a strong Christian faith, active prayer life, and passion for supporting disadvantaged people through compassionate, values-driven leadership.
  • Proven operational and care management expertise – Extensive experience managing CQC/CIW regulated residential care services, complex client groups, medication, budgets, occupancy, and compliance, with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Dynamic leader and relationship builder – Skilled in developing high-performing teams, managing change, building strong stakeholder partnerships, and communicating effectively with diverse audiences, while remaining flexible to travel nationally and participate in an on-call rota.

The successful candidate will be a practicing Christian who will create an environment where people feel valued, empowered and equipped to do their best work. This person will play a full part to further the organisational aims and provide strong Christian leadership to allow Langley to be a leader within the different sectors in which it operates. The postholder will always uphold the Trust's Christian ethos and Christ-like culture and therefore there is an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a practicing and professing Christian under the Equality Act 2010.

Please note that the successful candidate will need to be happy to adapt to change and flexible in their duties. No one day will be the same so the ability to refocus frequently is important.
