Are you an organised and creative person with a passion for enriching the lives of others? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part-time Permanent Activities Coordinator to join our team based in our care home in Taunton on a permanent basis, working 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £15,539.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with each new client to understand their likes/dislikes, abilities and needs to put together an individual care plan pathway for activities.
  • Engaging clients daily lives within the community by initiating contact with local community groups.
  • Liaising and consulting with staff, external agencies and relatives in relation to activities.
  • Ensuring the activity and social programme are accessible to all and it incorporates evenings and weekends.
  • Familiarising and connecting with all key community groups.
  • Regularly assessing the effectiveness of social events and the activities programme.
  • Effectively risk assess internal and external activities.
