Are you an organised and creative person with a passion for enriching the lives of others? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part-time Permanent Activities Coordinator to join our team based in our care home in Taunton on a permanent basis, working 20 hours per week. This may include some weekend working.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £15,539.

- Working with each new client to understand their likes/dislikes, abilities and needs to put together an individual care plan pathway for activities. This will be kept up to date and reviewed regularly.
- Formulating and maintaining a stimulating programme of activities for groups of clients and for individuals, taking into consideration special individual requirements.
- Engaging clients’ daily lives within the community by initiating contact with local community groups.
- Liaising and consulting with staff, external agencies and relatives in relation to activities.
- Ensuring the activity and social programme are accessible to all and it incorporates evenings and weekends.
- Familiarising and connecting with all key community groups.
- Regularly assessing the effectiveness of social events and the activities programme.
- Effectively risk assess internal and external activities.
- Ensuring the programme of activities is within the allocated budget.
