Langley is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Night Support Worker to join our friendly and dedicated team in Taunton. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, where you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting our clients and contributing to our mission. This will be 3x12.5 hour shifts and will include some weekend work.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £24,727 per annum, plus an additional market premium of £3,709, recognising the value and impact of your work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform individual personal care tasks, including washing, showering and toileting, medication administration and promoting independence.
  • Write care plans and ensure these are followed and handed over to all staff, take an active part in hand over and report any concerns to the Management Team.
  • De-escalate and manage stressful situations in a calm manner.
  • Regularly fully utilise the Trust ‘Client File’ with designated clients to ensure that they are supported and empowered to achieve appropriate outcomes.
  • Provide support and guidance to other Support Workers to assist them in the safe delivery of the service and to support client engagement.

A satisfactory Enhanced DBS with adult barred list check is required for this role and job offers will be subject to the Trust receiving satisfactory evidence of the successful applicant’s right to work in the UK.
