Langley is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Night Support Worker to join our friendly and dedicated team in Taunton. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, where you'll play a meaningful role in supporting our clients and contributing to our mission. This will be 3x12.5 hour shifts and will include some weekend work. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £24,727 per annum, plus an additional market premium of £3,709, recognising the value and impact of your work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform individual personal care tasks, including washing, showering and toileting, medication administration and promoting independence.
  • Write care plans and ensure these are followed and handed over to all staff, take an active part in hand over and report any concerns to the Management Team.
  • De-escalate and manage stressful situations in a calm manner.
  • Regularly fully utilise the Trust Client File with designated clients to ensure that they are supported and empowered to achieve appropriate outcomes.
  • Provide support and guidance to other Support Workers to assist them in the safe delivery of the service and to support client engagement.
