Role Overview
We are seeking a caring and committed Residential Support Worker (Day) to join our Poole team.
This pivotal role involves providing day-time support to individuals living in our residential services, helping them to achieve their personal goals and maintain their wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised day-time care and support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration as required.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Encourage social inclusion and participation in community activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care and support provided.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Report any concerns or changes in residents' conditions promptly to the management team.
- Work flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a care, support, or related role within the Charity & Voluntary or Health, Nursing & Social Care sectors is desirable.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent are preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
- Understanding of safeguarding principles and commitment to promoting best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undertake necessary training and development.
- Enhanced DBS check clearance will be required prior to appointment.
