Langley Trust is looking for a dedicated Approved Premises Residential Day Support Worker to join our friendly team in Poole, Dorset. This is a full-time, permanent role and involves working 37.5 hours per week over three 12.5-hour shifts across a 7 day rota, offering a competitive salary of £26,936 per annum. In this vital position, you’ll provide support to residents, maintain a safe and secure environment, and work closely with probation services to help clients reintegrate into the community. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and support clients through induction, prison assessments, and move-on planning to achieve positive outcomes.
- Deliver programmes and key work sessions that promote reintegration and personal development within the premises.
- Manage risk effectively by contributing to risk plans, monitoring compliance, and sharing updates at professional meetings.
- Maintain daily operations including client entry/exit, record-keeping, and adherence to data protection and confidentiality standards.
- Promote positive behaviour and compliance with rules and licence conditions, using pro-social modelling and fair enforcement.
- Safeguard wellbeing and safety through referrals, mandatory testing, medication procedures, emergency response, and liaison with agencies.
