We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Housing Officer to join our dedicated team in Fleetwood , supporting individuals with complex needs, including people with offences and those at risk of homelessness. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with tenants, partner agencies and local services to help people maintain their tenancies, maximise their independence and build brighter futures.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 24 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of 16,379 per annum , recognising the value and impact of your work.

About the Role
- Manage referrals and lettings to support agreed occupancy targets, carrying out detailed eligibility and risk assessments and working with police, probation, local authority housing teams and other partners where required.
- Provide tenants with clear advice on welfare and housing benefits, tenancy rights and responsibilities, rent arrears and move-on options, working with advocacy agencies to maximise income, sustain tenancies and prevent eviction.
- Ensure properties in the allocated portfolio are safe, habitable, fully equipped and compliant with Trust policies, tenancy agreements, stakeholder contracts and health and safety requirements, arranging aids, adaptations, repairs and equipment where needed.
- Maintain accurate tenant, housing management and health and safety records on QLx; consult tenants, manage housing-related feedback and complaints, brief colleagues, prepare reports and maintain effective relationships with landlords, statutory agencies and local partners.
About You
- Compassionate and motivated to support vulnerable and disadvantaged people, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by ex-offenders and those experiencing housing issues.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work professionally, maintain confidentiality, and liaise effectively with clients and partner agencies.
- Resilient, adaptable, and organised, able to manage risk, respond to changing priorities, use IT systems effectively, and commit to ongoing training and development.
