Langley has a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate, resilient, and proactive Deputy Service Manager with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our team in Bury . This role is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week . The successful candidate will receive a salary of Β£40,178 per annum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Christ-centred leadership, promoting the Trust's values and creating an inclusive, supportive environment for clients, staff and stakeholders.
Support delivery of service objectives and performance targets, deputising for the Service Manager and contributing to service development.
Lead, supervise and develop staff, ensuring effective rotas, training, communication and safe service delivery.
Oversee high-quality, person-centred support, including support planning, safeguarding, risk management, medication and accurate record keeping.
Build effective partnerships, manage referrals and resources, monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement in line with Trust policies and standards.
ABOUT YOU
A committed Christian with a strong understanding of Christian values, passionate about supporting and empowering people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
An experienced and compassionate leader with a background in supported housing, care, or the voluntary sector, able to motivate teams and manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
A confident communicator and team player who can build effective relationships, maintain high standards of safeguarding and support, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be a practicing Christian who will create an environment where people feel valued, empowered and equipped to do their best work. This person will play a full part to further the organisational aims and provide strong Christian leadership to allow Langley to be a leader within the different sectors in which it operates. The postholder will always uphold the Trust's Christian ethos and Christ like culture and therefore there is an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a practicing and professing Christian under the Equality Act 2010.
Please note that the successful candidate will need to be happy to adapt to change and flexible in their duties. No one day will be the same so the ability to refocus frequently is important.
